The Advanced Heart Failure Program at BIDMC brings together a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nurses who work together to provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients living with all stages of heart failure. Our specialized heart failure services include an active and established program in Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) therapy.
The CardioVascular Institute at BIDMC has received prestigious recognition for quality in the care of hospitalized patients with heart failure through the American Heart Association's "Get With the Guidelines" program.
We proudly support the work of The HeartBrothers Foundation and all of the peer-to-peer help and financial assistance they have provided our patients since their inception. By joining us in fundraising for Friendly Feud II you can help further their reach in helping heart failure patients and their loved ones navigate the journey through advanced heart failure, LVAD, and transplant.
